Hungry Jack's is Australia's Burger King equivalent. It was named after the owner, John De Ciero, who wanted to expand his business in Australia and could not use the name "Burger King." They settled on Hungry Jack's because a little takeaway shop in Adelaide had the same name.

Hungry Jack's is an Australian fast food restaurant chain with over 700 locations. The company was founded in 1973 and has since expanded to countries like Japan, South Africa and Malaysia with plans to add more locations around the world in the future. Hungry Jack's serves such items as pancakes, hamburgers and french toast among other things.
